Wood Street Veterinary Hospital is a busy, 24-hour RCVS-accredited Tier 3 hospital, offering gold-standard patient care in a well-equipped environment. We deal with a wide variety of cases from ECC to orthopaedic surgeries and we are ISFM standard cat friendly and rabbit friendly certified practice. We have four branch surgeries, Oakwood Veterinary Surgery in Radlett, Holders Hill Veterinary Surgery in Mill Hill, Cockfosters Veterinary Surgery in Cockfosters, and Rosemary Avenue Vet Clinic in Enfield.

Our team are highly skilled and extremely dedicated to look after all of your pets' needs. Staff members are on the premises 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to look after our patients. We provide an emergency service so that there is always a Veterinary Surgeon and Veterinary Nurse available.
About the rota
This is a full-time permanent role working 40 hours per week. The shifts are 8 hours and will be starting from 7:00am with the latest shift ending at 9:00pm. There will be 1 in 4 Saturdays with time in lieu. There are also no nights or bank holidays. A healthy work/life balance is important so we do offer a flexible working pattern to suit your needs and commitments, we will be more than happy to discuss this at interview. Part-time applications will be considered.
Our ideal candidate
You must be a Registered Veterinary Nurse with a proactive, can-do attitude. Previous experience in a hospital environment is ideal, but not essential — we welcome applications from those eager to develop their skills. Full training will be provided across all areas. A clinical coach qualification is an advantage, or a willingness to complete training in the role is encouraged.
