We are excited to be recruiting for a new role at Sussex Equine and are looking for an Out of Hours Nurse to join our dedicated team.
This position is based on a 40-hour week, working 8pm–7am across four nights. You will be working alongside a committed intern team and an experienced surgeon, providing high standards of overnight care.
The role will include inpatient care, supporting emergency surgeries, and carrying out general nursing duties to ensure the smooth running of the practice overnight.
We are open to discussing alternative working patterns for the right candidate and welcome conversations around flexibility.

About the team
Our team is made up of highly trained specialists (4 Surgeons, 2 Internists, 1 Theriogenologist, and 1 Sports Medicine Specialist), along with dedicated equine nurses, trainee nurses, grooms, administration staff, 12 ambulatory vets, and 3 resident trainee vets.
