We are seeking a knowledgeable, confident Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Lake View Veterinary Centre on a part-time basis.
Lake View Veterinary Group is a friendly and experienced small animal group made up of three surgeries across Northamptonshire. This is an exciting opportunity to join a caring team dedicated to delivering high standards of veterinary care across a varied first opinion caseload.
Based primarily across our Thrapston and Rushden branches, this role combines all aspects of first opinion nursing, including theatre, inpatient care, client care and nurse consultations. You’ll be joining a supportive team of 5 Veterinary Surgeons, 8 nurses and dedicated support colleagues.

Well-equipped facilities including colour ultrasound, digital x-ray and full in-house Idexx laboratory
Gold standard anaesthesia equipment including Humphrey ADE circuits, multiparameter monitors, patient warming and oxygen generators
How You’ll Make a Difference
As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences.
You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.
Working Pattern
30.88 hours per week
Wednesday and Thursday, 8:30am to 7:00pm at Thrapston, Friday, 8:30am to 7:00pm at Rushden
1 in 4 Saturday mornings, 8:30am to 12:00 noon at Thrapston
No out-of-hours requirements
General Responsibilities
Deliver high standards of nursing care across a varied first opinion caseload
Support surgical procedures, including anaesthesia monitoring and theatre nursing
Run nurse consultations and contribute to preventative healthcare and client education
Support client care and communication throughout the patient journey
