Are you a Registered Veterinary Nurse looking for work in County Durham? Look no further! Abbey Vets are looking for a RVN to join our fantastic team.

Main responsibilities include in-patient care of surgical and medical cases, anaesthesia, nurse consultations and laboratory work. The role is 40 hours per week. The standard rota is 8am to 6.30pm or 8.30am-7pm over 4 days per week between Monday to Friday and 1 in 6 Saturdays 8am – 2pm.  No Sundays, out of hours or bank holidays.

Abbey Vets is small animal practice with two branches: one in Durham and one in Chester le Street. Durham is a lovely city with excellent transport links to the North and South. Beautiful coast and dales nearby for people who prefer the countryside. The role is split over the 2 sites on a rota basis. Facilities include digital radiography, dental x-ray, ultrasonography, endoscope, multiparameter, laser and more. We have eight veterinary surgeons, thirteen RVN’s and three veterinary care assistants. We have an excellent and experienced receptionist team. We also have a supportive admin team who takes care of financial matters including insurance.
