We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Park Veterinary Centre on a full-time or part-time basis.
 
Park Veterinary Centre is a well-established first opinion small animal practice with over 100 years of serving the local community in Hertfordshire. As a training practice, we are passionate about supporting the development of our team and have a long history of mentoring students and newly qualified nurses, making this an excellent environment to learn and grow.
 
Our experienced, long-standing team brings a wealth of clinical expertise and shares a genuine commitment to delivering exceptional patient care, with a particular focus on animal welfare and behaviour. The practice is well-equipped with laparoscopy, endoscopy, ultrasound, digital and dental radiography, alongside a comprehensive range of modern monitoring equipment, enabling us to manage a varied and rewarding caseload.
 
Based in Watford, we enjoy the best of both worlds, with beautiful Hertfordshire countryside on our doorstep and direct rail links to London in around 35 minutes. We also have a nearby consulting branch in Leavesden, just a few miles from our main site.
 

How You’ll Make a Difference

 
As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences.
 
You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.
 

Working Pattern

 
  • Full-time is 40 hours per week, but we will consider part-time applicants also
  • Up to 4 days Monday - Friday between the hours of 8 am and 8 pm
  • 1 in 4 Saturdays until 4.30 pm and 1 in 12 Saturday mornings

  • Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS
  • Experience working in clinical practice, with growing confidence in medical and surgical nursing
