We’re on the lookout for a compassionate and capable Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly team at Blake Vets for a 12-month fixed-term contract. You’ll work across our three well-equipped branches, supporting a mix of medical, surgical, inpatient, and consultative care in a genuinely collaborative environment.
You’ll be part of a close-knit team of vets, RVNs, student nurses, and receptionists, all dedicated to delivering exceptional first-opinion care. If you enjoy variety in your day and take pride in excellent communication, reliability, and teamwork—we’d love to hear from you. You will be working across our Bridgwater and Burnham-on-Sea branches on a shared rota, becoming part of a friendly and genuinely approachable team.
About You
We are seeking a qualified RVN who is confident, compassionate and committed to delivering high standards of care. You should enjoy working as part of a team, be adaptable to a varied caseload and feel comfortable participating in an OOH rota.
Whether you are looking to consolidate your skills or further develop your clinical interests, this role offers a strong foundation and supportive environment.
Work schedule
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract, full-time position, averaging 41.6 hours per week over an 8-week rota.
The rota includes out-of-hours night shifts and weekend work, with time off in lieu provided to help protect your work-life balance. Bank Holidays are shared fairly across the nursing team.
