Full Time – 40 hours per week
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday, 8:30am–7:00pm
Approx. 1 in 6 Saturday mornings (Lydney branch, 8:30am–1:00pm)

We’re looking for an experienced and proactive Senior Registered Veterinary Nurse to take the lead at our Hartpury branch. This is a sole charge position that gives you the freedom to make the branch your own, while enjoying full support and regular contact with our friendly team of Vets and Nurses across our Sundean practices.
This role offers a great blend of hands-on clinical work and practice leadership, giving you the opportunity to use your nursing expertise while helping to maintain smooth day-to-day operations.

Role Details


As Senior RVN at our Hartpury branch, you’ll be responsible for both clinical nursing and key administrative duties, ensuring high standards of patient care, client service, and organisation are upheld.
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Overseeing daily operations and diary management for the branch
  • Maintaining practice standards and SOP updates
  • Acting as Radiation Protection Supervisor, First Aider and Fire Marshal
  • Managing stock control, ordering and stock takes
  • Performing a full range of nursing duties including theatre work, anaesthesia, inpatient care and nurse clinics
  • Supporting lab work and maintaining practice cleanliness and organisation
  • Collaborating closely with the local Vet and Reception team, as well as colleagues across the wider Sundean network

    We’re looking for someone who is:
  • A confident and experienced RVN ready for a senior or leadership role
  • Highly organised, reliable, and proactive in their approach
  • Friendly, approachable and supportive with excellent communication skills
  • Positive and adaptable, with a genuine passion for both patient care and team wellbeing
  • This role is ideal for someone who enjoys independence and responsibility but values being part of a supportive, close-knit team that truly cares.
