We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Cliffe Vets on a part-time, 8-month maternity cover basis.
 
Our team of 32 dedicated professionals, includes veterinary surgeons, registered veterinary nurses, student veterinary nurses, and members of our client care team. We work closely together to provide high-quality, compassionate care to our patients and support to their owners, fostering a collaborative and supportive working environment across our branches.
 
Our practice is made up of one main site & two branch surgeries. Each branch is fully equipped for routine operations and offers nurse-led consultations, ensuring consistent, high-quality care across all locations. Diagnostic imaging is available at our main site, supporting a wide range of clinical services. 
 

How You’ll Make a Difference 

 
 
As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences. 
 
You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice. 
 
This part-time RVN position involves working 33 hours per week (3 x 10.5 hour days Monday, Wednesday & Friday) . 
 
The position also includes a 1 in 6 Saturday rota, for which time off in lieu is given the week following. An experienced candidate is preferred.
 
General responsibilities involves:
 
  • Admitting patients and assisting with operations and procedures
  • Running nurse consults
  • Covering dispensary/reception as needed.

  • Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS
