We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Bilton Veterinary Centre on a full-time basis.
Bilton Veterinary Centre is a long-established, single-site small animal practice in Rugby, proudly serving the local community for over 75 years. We are a friendly, supportive team with a strong reputation for delivering high standards of patient care and excellent client service.
Our well-equipped practice includes five consulting rooms, two sterile theatres, dedicated dental suites, digital and dental radiography, ultrasound with cardiac probes, in-house laboratory equipment, ECG, and a newly refurbished isolation suite. As an ISFM Cat Friendly accredited practice, we are committed to providing a calm and comfortable environment for our patients.

How You’ll Make a Difference
As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences.
You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.
This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week across a 4-day working week, with shifts between 8:00am and 7:30pm. Weekend work is shared fairly across the team, with Saturday clinics running until 1:00pm and inpatient care supported until 4:30pm. There are no out-of-hours requirements, with care transferred to a dedicated provider outside of these hours.
General responsibilities include:
Deliver high standards of nursing care across a varied first opinion caseload
Support surgical procedures, including anaesthesia monitoring and theatre nursing
Provide excellent inpatient care and support patient recovery
Run and support nurse-led clinics, promoting preventative healthcare and client education
