We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Belmont Vets on a part-time basis.

Belmont Vets is a well-established, single-site small animal practice, proudly serving the community of beautiful Hereford and the surrounding areas. How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences.

You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.

We are looking for a Nurse to join us on a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave.

Working Pattern

  • 9.1 hours per week
  • Working Fridays with shifts varying between 8:00-19:30
  • 1 in 5 Friday night inpatient duties & 1 in 5 Saturdays 08:30-17:00 with weekend inpatient duty.

  • Running nurse clinics
  • Providing outstanding inpatient care
  • Supporting dental procedures
  • Monitoring anaesthesia and supporting surgical procedures
