We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at South Lincs Vet Group on a full-time basis.

Nestled between Spalding and Boston in the picturesque Lincolnshire countryside, our location provides a peaceful backdrop for your career. As an RCVS-accredited hospital, we take pride in being fully equipped, offering all the resources you need to thrive.

South Lincs Vet Group consists of the main hospital and 4 branch locations. Our team is strong and dedicated, with 17 vets, including certificate holders in Orthopaedics, Soft Tissue Surgery, ECC, and Medicine. Supporting them is a fantastic team of 50+ RVNs, SVNs, VCAs, ACAs, reception, and admin staff, all working seamlessly together to deliver outstanding care.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences.

You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.

Working Pattern

42 hours per week

Working on a rota basis Monday to Friday

1 in 5 Saturday shifts

1 in 15 weekend night shifts

General Responsibilities

General nursing for inpatients

Managing referral cases including orthopaedics and soft tissue surgeries, as well as emergency care

Assist with Schedule 3 procedures

Handle radiography, perform lab work, and take on consulting shifts

You'll operate x-ray and CT scans and have access to multiparameter monitoring equipment
