We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team in Whitton. You will have plenty of support to help you thrive in this role, working in rotation between surgery, consultations, and inpatient care.

This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week, spread over 5 days. Additionally, there is a requirement to work a half-day shift on Saturdays, once every 4 weeks. Time worked on the Saturday shift will be compensated by equivalent time off during a weekday, ensuring total weekly working hours remain at 40.

Alcombe Vets is an RCVS-accredited, nurse-training practice. You'll work alongside an experienced team of 1 Clinical Director, 2 Veterinary Surgeons, 2 RVNs, 1 SVN, a Practice Manager, and a dedicated receptionist team. We also benefit from regular visits by a specialist surgeon who provides orthopedic procedures. You will also have the opportunity to work at other practices within the Alcombe Vets group, providing cover when needed. 

We also enjoy regular socials and celebrate each others birthdays with a cake.

Alcombe Vets, Whitton is a well-established first-opinion practice in the heart of a lovely neighbourhood. The clinic is well-connected, with great transport links, and is just a short walk from charming cafes and grocery stores. 
 
The practice is equipped with a brand new dental x-ray, digital x-ray, ultrasound, a multiparameter machine, a microscope, and an in-house laboratory for diagnostics. We have two large consulting rooms, a bright reception area, and a spacious staff room with a kitchenette and couches for relaxing during breaks. We pride ourselves on having an excellent and loyal client base, and we value our relationships with them. We also support charitable initiatives and often receive pets from Cats Protection and other local charities.
