We are seeking an experienced, diligent and team-orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at The Avenue Vet on a full-time basis.
The Avenue Vet, Ealing is a modern, newly established practice located just a five-minute walk from West Ealing Station on the Elizabeth Line. Situated on a vibrant high street within a rapidly growing area, the practice is surrounded by new residential and commercial developments, creating an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing clinic.

How You’ll Make a Difference
As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences.
We’re looking for a confident and compassionate RVN who is comfortable working independently when required while also being a strong team player. This role is ideally suited to someone who takes initiative, maintains high clinical standards and enjoys contributing to the continued growth of a practice.
You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.
Working Pattern
40 hours per week
Monday to Friday
9:00am–5:30pm with a 30-minute break
1 in 4 Saturdays, 9:00am–1:00pm
Time off in lieu provided for Saturday shifts
General Responsibilities
Run nurse consultations including wellness, vaccination and post-operative clinics
Provide theatre support including anaesthetic monitoring, patient preparation and surgical assistance
Deliver gold-standard inpatient and post-operative nursing care
Work in sole charge when required and assist with patient triage
Support reception activities when needed, including client communication and appointment management

Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS
Extensive experience working in clinical practice with confidence in medical and surgical nursing
Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues
Good organisational skills and the ability to manage workload effectively
A proactive approach to learning, reflection and continuous improvement
Confidence working in sole charge
Experience handling emergency cases
A commitment to maintaining high clinical standards
