Find a place to excel
Bourne Veterinary Practice is a purpose-built practice in the heart of the countryside in Bekesbourne, Canterbury, Kent. With excellent transport links and situated just 10 minutes from the City of Canterbury and 30 minutes from the port of Dover and the euro tunnel at Folkestone.

Our main clinic consists of 4 consultation rooms and a large reception waiting area. We have separate dog and cat wards and a separate isolation ward. Also, we have a separate cat clinic which consists of 2 consultation rooms, prep area and a waiting area and is ISFM Silver accredited.
Find progression
The practice has a caring and supportive culture with a close-knit family feel. We have annual summer events, Christmas events and social activities to keep the team bonded and give time to unwind. There are plenty of opportunities to learn from both senior and visiting colleagues. We encourage the sharing of CPD and best practice and hold regular M&M meetings to ensure that we are delivering the best care for both our patients and clients.
There will be various shift roles including clinics, dispensary, theatre, and in-patients. We appreciate that work-life balance is important and so the position is part-time Monday-Friday with 1:6 Saturday shifts (8am-5pm) and the weekday shifts are 10-hour shifts 3 days a week. The earliest start time would be 8:00am and the latest finish time 20:00pm. There is no out of hours or on-call.
