Are you a skilled and compassionate Registered Veterinary Nurse seeking a fulfilling career opportunity? Join our team at Wellpets Vets in Cwmbran, where you'll engage in a diverse range of responsibilities. As a Registered Veterinary Nurse with us, you'll be involved in conducting nurse clinics, assisting in theatre and prep work, providing in-patient and out-patient care, and performing some lab work.

 

 

This is a full-time position spanning 4 days per week, with a rotating Saturday morning shift (1 in 4). Additionally, we welcome part-time candidates. Shifts typically run from 8:00 am to 6:30 pm and 8:30 am to 7:00 pm, with Saturday hours from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm. Rest assured, there are no out-of-hours commitments.

 

 

We're a well-established RCVS training practice with a good reputation looking after the veterinary needs of a large and loyal client base since 1989. The cities of Bristol, Newport and Cardiff are all within a reasonable commute of the practice, along with the beautiful South Wales coastline, the Forest of Dean and Brecon Beacons.

 

 

Our modern, well-equipped practice boasts Bio-Chemistry and Haematology Idexx machines, Digital x-ray processors, dental machines and multiparameter monitors.

 

 

We are a close-knit team who pride ourselves on creating a supportive and collaborative environment where each team member plays a crucial role in providing exceptional care to our patients. Our veterinarians bring a wealth of experience, working alongside passionate veterinary nurses and support staff who share a commitment to animal welfare. Our head nurse has a certificate in Emergency and Critical Care, whilst the practice manager has a certificate in Feline Nursing.
