Join our team at Wellpets Vets in Cwmbran, where you'll engage in a diverse range of responsibilities. As a Registered Veterinary Nurse with us, you'll be involved in conducting nurse clinics, assisting in theatre and prep work, providing in-patient and out-patient care, and performing some lab work.
Our Rota
This is a full-time position spanning 4 days per week, with a rotating Saturday morning shift (1 in 4). Additionally, we welcome part-time candidates. Shifts typically run from 8:00 am to 6:30 pm and 8:30 am to 7:00 pm, with Saturday hours from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm. Rest assured, there are no out-of-hours commitments.

The cities of Bristol, Newport and Cardiff are all within a reasonable commute of the practice, along with the beautiful South Wales coastline, the Forest of Dean and Brecon Beacons.

Our veterinarians bring a wealth of experience, working alongside passionate veterinary nurses and support staff who share a commitment to animal welfare. Our head nurse has a certificate in Emergency and Critical Care, whilst the practice manager has a certificate in Feline Nursing. We value open communication and teamwork, ensuring that every voice is heard, demonstrated by scoring highly in a recent survey for job satisfaction.
