Find a place to excel
Bourne Veterinary Practice is set in a beautiful rural location with countryside views. We have some quaint little shops and a coffee shop on our doorstep with plenty of free off-road parking. Although we are rural, we are only 10 minutes from Canterbury city centre, have good travel links to Dover and local train links.
What might your working shifts look like?
We understand that work life balance is important and therefore we are looking for approximately 33,5 hrs per week (including 1:5 Saturdays
8.30am-4.30pm) with 31,5 hrs being 3 weekdays
8.30am-7pm Mon-Fri. We are open to discussions around these hours and there will be no out of hours work or on call required.

State of the art equipment
The practice itself has 4 consultation rooms in our main clinic with a large open fully equipped prep/laboratory area, endoscopy, ultrasound, digital radiography, dental suite with dental radiography, theatre, and kennels. We are lucky to have a separate cat clinic (next to our main clinic building), which has its own reception, waiting room, 2 consultation rooms and prep area. The practice also benefits from a separate cat theatre, cat prep area and cat ward.
Also on site is our hydrotherapy unit, consisting of a underwater treadmill, a separate consultation room and a large training room which we use for land-based therapies such as massage, lunch and learns and meetings. We find both the separate cat clinic and the hydrotherapy unit are brilliant unique selling points of the practice as well as our peaceful location.
Join our supportive team
We are a well bonded team of 8 nurses, 4 receptionists, 5 vets including our Clinical Director and a Practice Manager. Some of the team have been at the practice since it opened 19 years ago and most of the team have been here 7 + Years.
