Rota patterns that work for you

Our people are at the heart of everything that we do, that’s why we know that work-life balance is vital in supporting our people to be their best selves. Our flexible approach to rota patterns and working hours offers a balance that truly flexes with you and your lifestyle no matter what stage you are in your career.

Ideally, we are looking to fill a full-time position working 40 hours per week across a 4-day week, providing an excellent work-life balance. You will also have a share of the Saturday rota, with the practice open from 8am to 12pm only.

Find your future with Copeland Vets

We are a purpose-built practice located in Ingelby Barwick, one of the largest housing estates in Europe. The practice benefits from excellent local transport links, with Teesside Airport and strong rail connections nearby, making commuting straightforward. At the same time, we are perfectly positioned close to beautiful beaches and the Cleveland Hills, offering fantastic opportunities to enjoy the outdoors right on your doorstep.

Our practice is well-equipped with modern facilities including a separate theatre and dental suite, digital X-ray including dental radiography, laparoscopic spay equipment and a new endoscopy system, alongside a fully equipped in-house laboratory. We also have separate dog and cat wards, and nurse-led clinics are actively encouraged.

You will be working alongside a dedicated and experienced team of 2 vets, 4 nurses, an experienced ACA and a fantastic reception team. We also work closely with our two neighbouring Teesside practices, providing additional clinical support and the benefits of a wider collaborative team.

With ample on-site parking and a convenient location close to shops and local amenities, Copeland Vets is a popular and well-regarded practice within the community — and a great place to grow your veterinary career.
