At Andale Veterinary Centre, we are looking for a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to become part of our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in a wide range of cases including consultations, routine surgeries and medical cases. Our flexible approach to rota patterns and working hours truly tips the scale on your work-life balance. We know that everyone has demands and priorities outside of their career, and we want to make it brilliantly easy for you to strike the right balance. A typical full-time role would involve working up to 40 hours per week over a 4- or 5-day week depending on your preference. There's 1 in 3 Saturday mornings (9-12), No out of hours, bank holidays or on call required.
Andale Veterinary Centre is ideally situated just minutes away from major transport links like the M57, M62 and Mersey Gateway Bridge leading to the Wirral and North Wales. You'll have easy access to John Lennon Airport, Liverpool City Centre, the beautiful Lake District and bustling Manchester all within a short distance.
Andale is a state of the art, purpose built small animal facility. We boast 6 consulting rooms, in-house laboratory, digital x-ray, ultrasound, dental x-ray and two well-equipped theatres, complemented by separate dog and cat wards. Being RCVS accredited, and a training practice, we maintain the highest standards. We have large on-site parking facilities ensuring convenience for both clients and staff.
At Andale Veterinary Centre, we are more than just a team, we're a close-knit family that enjoys working together. You'll be surrounded by 5 Receptionists, 8 highly skilled RVN's, 1 SVN and a VCA, all under the leadership of our Practice Director, Senior Veterinary Surgeon, Head Nurse and Head Receptionist. As part of our group of 5 veterinary surgeons, you will have ample opportunities for team meetings, regular appraisals and team nights out
