    How You’ll Make a Difference

     

    As a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon, you’ll work collaboratively with the wider practice team to deliver a high standard of patient and client care across a varied and rewarding caseload.

     

    You’ll continue to develop your clinical skills and interests while sharing your knowledge and experience with colleagues, contributing positively to the clinical culture of the practice. You’ll be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering excellent care and supporting the ongoing development of those around you.

  • A Veterinary degree and registration (or eligibility to register) with the RCVS

    We are a well established four site practice based across Godalming, Farnham, Chiddingfold and Beacon Hill. Our main clinics in Godalming and Farnham sit within beautiful historic market towns, while Beacon Hill and Chiddingfold offer a relaxed village feel. We are now looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our welcoming and collaborative team.
     
     
    You will be joining a large, experienced and friendly team made up of 10 veterinary surgeons, 9 qualified veterinary nurses and 13 support colleagues. Many of our team have been with us for years, and that stability has created a culture where people look out for one another, pitch in when needed, and share a real pride in what they do.

    We are close to excellent referral centres, and we also work with peripatetic surgeons, giving you the opportunity to stay involved and follow your cases through.

You’ll be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering excellent care and supporting the ongoing development of those around you.

     

    We are passionate about helping our people reach their full potential. Whether your interests lean towards surgery, medicine, or a blend of both, we will support your development with genuine career progression pathways and exposure to the cases you want to build confidence in. Most of your time will be spent at our Godalming practice, with occasional support across our other branches to keep variety in your week.
     
     
     
  • Work-life balance is not just a phrase here. This role is built around a four day working week, with flexibility on shift patterns within our opening hours of 8:30am to 6:30pm.
  • You will take part in a Saturday rota of 1 in 4, working 8am to 12pm.
  • There are no out-of-hours requirements
  • Very happy to consider part-time applications.
  • A full-time position is 40 hours per week.
