We’re on the lookout for a passionate Veterinary Surgeon to join our Equine clinic at Brooke, a modern, purpose-built practice that’s part of a close-knit group of five well-established sites across Norfolk. If you are an experienced Equine Vet ready to take the next step in your career, this role is the one!

A Practice Where You Can Truly Thrive

As part of the Chapelfield group, which includes branches in Norwich, Long Stratton, Wymondham, Costessey, and Brooke, we work collaboratively to share knowledge, skills, and resources. This means you’ll always feel supported and connected, whether you’re in branch or chatting cases across sites.

The Equine Clinic in Brooke was purpose built and opened in 2012 in order to provide advanced equine veterinary services for the horses, ponies and donkeys of Norfolk and Suffolk. The clinic is sited in six acres, which allows us the luxury of a full sized manège and covered trot-up areas for lameness, back pain and poor performance investigations, stabling for eight horses including heated mare and foal accommodation, and turn-out paddocks.

Other facilities include: operating theatre, padded induction rooms, treatments rooms and standing stocks for endoscopy, gastroscopy, digital x-ray and ultrasonography. There is a separate unit on the site to house the only equine gamma scintigraphy (bone scan) camera in Norfolk.

Giving Back to Our Community

We value our place in the local community and proudly support several animal charities. We work closely with Dogs Trust, running weekly operating days at the practice, and also support Cats Protection League, Venture Farm, and other welfare organisations.

Build your career around you

We offer flexible working patterns that flex with you and your lifestyle. Whether you are looking to flex your rota hours to balance the school holidays, fix to navigate the school runs or just looking to strike that balance between home and work life.
