At inspiring vet care, our people are at the heart of everything we do. As the UK’s number one vet care provider, we're trusted with the care of over 2 million animals, delivering our purpose of healthier animals and happier owners.
At Cedar Grove, we’re more than a small animal hospital – we’re a centre for excellence, combining high-quality first-opinion care with an expanding referral caseload. This is an ideal opportunity for an enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon ready to take the next step in their career, shaping the future of our hospital while enjoying the support of an exceptional team.
You’ll enjoy a diverse caseload, covering a full range of procedures including soft tissue surgery, orthopaedics (including TPLO), spinal surgery, neurology, ophthalmology, dentals, dermatology, complex fractures, chemotherapy, blood transfusions, endoscopy, and internal medicine. With access to CT and MRI, this is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in advanced diagnostics and surgery. If you have an interest in referrals, particularly orthopaedics or neurology, you’ll have every opportunity to explore and grow this side of your clinical career.
We know that delivering great care starts with feeling supported and balanced. Our full-time rota is based on 4 days per week (variable hours) with a share in our 1:6 weekend rota. Our OOH service is covered by VetsNow.
We’re genuinely flexible – whether you’re looking for full-time, part-time, or a bespoke rota, we’ll tailor your schedule to suit your lifestyle and career stage.
