Find a place to excel

We are looking for a full time or part time experienced small animal vet, to cover a shared rota for both our purpose-built veterinary practice in Faversham and our practice in Whitstable. The clinics are just under 8 miles from each other, and the role is working alongside our experienced Clinical Director who is an imaging certificate holder and OV certified.

Faversham is our larger and busier practice and Whitstable is our smaller sole charge site, both practices of which you would be working alongside our experienced and supportive 4.5 nursing team, longstanding 5.5 reception team and an experienced RVN who is our practice manager. Both our sites have great and longstanding clientele.

Our clinical director holds frequent clinical meetings with the vets to encourage case discussion and support job satisfaction, well-being and role progression.  We also have a visiting ophthalmologist, cardiologist and orthopaedic surgeon, when required.

Fix or flex – find your perfect balance

Part- and full-time candidates considered with Saturday rota evenly shared, but no Sunday, night, or bank holiday work required.
Full time hours are 08:30-18:30 over a 4-day week with a mix of medical and surgical cases. Weekends are a rotation of 1:3 Saturdays from 08:00-16:00 (flexible on these hours). No out of hours and we can offer flexible working for the right candidate.
Discover a workplace that supports you

Our Faversham practice is 4-min drive from the local shops and 6-min from the train station which has main links into London. The practice is also easily located from the Thanet Way (A299).

Whitstable is walking distance from the beach front and has easy access to local novelty shops and cafes and has easy links to the Thanet Way (A299). The local train station is only an 8-min walk.

State of art equipment

We have the usual equipment with digital x-ray, K-laser, ultrasound, dental x-ray, endoscopy, bronchoscopy, and in clinic laboratories. We have ample parking and very large facilities at Faversham, where we are also located next to a large pet store whom we have a good relationship with.
