Rosehill Vets is looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly and supportive team. This is an excellent opportunity for a vet who enjoys the variety of first-opinion practice and is looking for a role that offers clinical autonomy, a strong team culture and opportunities for continued professional growth.

 

The position offers a rewarding balance of consultations and surgery, allowing you to fully utilise and develop your clinical skills. As a valued member of our close-knit team, you'll have the opportunity to manage your own caseload, build lasting relationships with clients and follow cases through with continuity of care, all while working to a high clinical standard.

 

We encourage our vets to take ownership of their cases and provide the time and support needed to work them up thoroughly. Whether your interests lie in medicine, surgery, diagnostics or a particular clinical discipline, you'll be supported to develop your skills and pursue areas that inspire you.

    You'll be joining an experienced and collaborative team of Veterinary Surgeons, RVNs and dedicated Client Care colleagues who work closely together to create a positive and supportive working environment.

     

    How You’ll Make a Difference

     

    As a Veterinary Surgeon, you’ll work collaboratively with the wider practice team to deliver a high standard of patient and client care across a varied and rewarding caseload.

     

    You’ll continue to develop your clinical skills and interests while sharing your knowledge and experience with colleagues, contributing positively to the clinical culture of the practice. You’ll be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering excellent care and supporting the ongoing development of those around you.

     

    Working Pattern

     
  • Full-time role working four days per week
  • 1 in 4 Saturday mornings, 9:00am–2:00pm
  • No out-of-hours responsibilities
  • No on-call commitment
  • Out-of-hours provided by a nearby IVC hospital
  • Part-time applications of 30+ hours per week welcomed

    You are a confident and motivated veterinary surgeon who enjoys working as part of a team and is committed to delivering high-quality patient and client care. You’ll bring:

     
  • A Veterinary degree and registration (or eligibility to register) with the RCVS
  • Experience working in clinical practice with growing confidence in routine medical and surgical cases
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues
  • A proactive approach to learning, with openness to feedback and development
  • Professionalism, reliability and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
