The Area
We have one practice on the edge of the Lakes and one in the Dales both beautiful areas and only 13 minutes apart, you would be required to work at both sites’ dependent on cases but flexible regarding where you start there day. The area boasts plenty of walking, great for outdoor living and adventure plus beautiful scenery with great transport links.
The Rota
1 in 4 weekends on call, plus 1 weeknight on rota on call from 5:30pm – 8am. Full or part time hours considered for the right candidate.
The Team
You will join a team of 4 farm vets, we are a mixed practice with seperate farm and small animal teams, meaning you gain the benefit of nurses who are always happy to help, especially calving or an interesting surgery!

As a Farm Veterinary Surgeon, you’ll work collaboratively with the wider practice team to deliver a high standard of patient and client care across a varied and rewarding caseload.
You’ll continue to develop your clinical skills and interests while sharing your knowledge and experience with colleagues, contributing positively to the clinical culture of the practice. You’ll be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering excellent care and supporting the ongoing development of those around you.

A Veterinary degree and registration (or eligibility to register) with the RCVS
Experience working in clinical practice with growing confidence in routine medical and surgical cases
