We have a unique opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to contribute to our practice's growth and further enhance our services across livestock and equine. You would be based across Steffan Vets and Priory Vets so have access to a varied caseload and can tailor this position to you based on individual interests and aspirations.

You would be involved in caring for a range of farms, with a good mix of beef, dairy, and sheep, and we run a smallholder’s club to look after the increasing number of non-professional farmers in our area. You will have the chance to gain experience in looking after goats, alpacas, and pigs, and we have a wide range of equine clients if that is an area of interest too.

Our Rota


We are happy to accept both full/part-time applications, working between 8:30am-5:30pm, which occasional earlier starts or finishes which would be agreed in advance with our clients. There is a 1:5 weekday and weekend on-call rota, with our Vets getting the Monday off following a weekend on call.
