“I’ve always had a keen interest in surgery so after qualifying as an RVN in 2019, I left Martin and Carr to work as a surgical nurse in a large referral clinic. I soon realised that what I’d left behind was a progressive practice that were keen to teach and encourage. I returned in 2020 where I went on to achieve a Certificate of Veterinary Nursing in Emergency & Critical Care (CertVNECC) and a certificate in analgesia and anaesthesia. The staff at Martin and Carr are supportive and caring” – Amy Deakin Head Nurse
“The ethos of the surgery combines traditional care and modern treatments; we are a friendly team who endorse family values within our practice. Our surgical and medical knowledge is far superior to most general practice and we are keen to teach the new generation of vet students. If you want to learn and progress, this is the practice for you!” – Amy Baldwin Clinical Director
