We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join our well-established and supportive team. This well established branch of Bath Vet Group, it is a friendly 2 vet surgery with operating, imaging and dentistry facilities on site. Ably supported by colleagues at our Rosemary Lodge Hospital, 7 miles away in Bath, where patients can be hospitalised and our OOH care is provided by Vets Now. The right candidate must feel comfortable with occasional sole charge at the Keynsham branch.

Long-established Tier 3 hospital based in Bath
On-site advanced imaging: MRI and CT
Digital X-ray and dental X-ray facilities
Comprehensive in-house diagnostics
Five satellite branches with varying size and facilities
Established teams and loyal client base across all sites
Central referral site (Rosemary Lodge) houses Bath Veterinary Referrals with specialist clinicians and surgeons

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon, you’ll work collaboratively with the wider practice team to deliver a high standard of patient and client care across a varied and rewarding caseload.

You’ll continue to develop your clinical skills and interests while sharing your knowledge and experience with colleagues, contributing positively to the clinical culture of the practice. You’ll be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering excellent care and supporting the ongoing development of those around you.


Key Responsibilities


See our first-opinion caseload, including routine surgery and consults
Be supported by and refer cases over to Rosemary Lodge
4 x 9.5 hours per week 0830 - 1830 (Tuesday day off) and 1:3 Saturday mornings (0900 - 1300)

You Might Be a Great Fit If...

You are a confident and motivated Veterinary Surgeon who enjoys working as part of a team and is committed to delivering high-quality patient and client care. You’ll bring:

A Veterinary degree and registration (or eligibility to register) with the RCVS
Experience working in clinical practice with growing confidence in routine medical and surgical cases
Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues
A proactive approach to learning, with openness to feedback and development
Professionalism, reliability, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
A passion for delivering excellent patient and client care
