Look no further than Cheshire Pet, where we're seeking a dedicated full -time Veterinary Surgeon to join our close-knit team for maternity cover. Nestled just a mile from junction 18 of the M6, with easy access to Manchester Piccadilly and Chester via the village train station, our practice provides an ideal setting for veterinary professionals who value both professional excellence and a relaxed lifestyle.

Our dedicated team of veterinary professionals enjoys working together to provide exceptional care to our beloved clients and their pets. With two exotic vets, one with a certificate and the other working towards it, alongside two other experienced small-animal veterinarians, our team boasts a wealth of expertise and knowledge.

About the role

 

Join us in our purpose-built clinic, equipped with state-of-the-art facilities including endoscopy, laparoscopy, ultrasound, and an underwater treadmill. As a full-time Veterinary Surgeon, you'll have the opportunity to work alongside our skilled team, providing first opinion veterinary care to our loyal client base. With flexible hours spread over 4 days per week, including a 1:4 Saturday morning shift, you'll have the chance to maintain a healthy work-life balance while honing your skills and expanding your knowledge. 

10 hours on Monday and Friday, 8-10 on 2 other days, some flexibility with hours may accept less than 40 hours per week if flexible. Every 4th Saturday with 4 hours taken back the next week
