The Practice
Orby Vets is a well-established, single-site small animal practice located in the charming village of Orby, just outside Skegness in Lincolnshire. Our practice is ideally positioned to offer the best of coastal and countryside living, with easy access to the Lincolnshire coastline and the beautiful Lincolnshire Wolds — perfect for candidates seeking an excellent work–life balance in a scenic rural setting.
We are a busy and friendly first-opinion practice with a loyal and growing client base, seeing a varied caseload of cats, dogs, rabbits, and other small companion animals. Our supportive clinical team includes experienced Veterinary Surgeons, Registered Veterinary Nurses (RVNs), and two Student Veterinary Nurses (SVNs), creating a collaborative and welcoming working environment. We are proud to be an RCVS Core Standards accredited practice, demonstrating our commitment to high clinical and operational standards.
Our practice is well-equipped to support high-quality patient care. Facilities include recently upgraded ultrasound, computed radiography, multiparameter monitoring, and blood pressure monitoring. We are currently in the process of introducing dental radiography and are committed to continued investment in equipment — we are happy to consider additional kit requests to support the successful candidate’s clinical interests and development.
We provide a comprehensive range of services including anaesthesia, cardiology, dermatology, internal medicine, neurology, and orthopaedics, allowing you to work up cases thoroughly in-house wherever appropriate.
We work with a dedicated local out-of-hours provider, meaning there are no OOH requirements, supporting a healthy work–life balance.
