Vets Now is the UK’s leading provider of emergency veterinary care, with a nationwide network of out of hours clinics and 24/7 emergency hospitals. As part of Inspiring Vet Care, our teams make a difference to pets and their owners when they need us most.
We can offer a £10,000 Recognition Bonus pro rata and up to £5,000 Relocation Allowance.
We understand that everyone has different priorities, so we’re happy to consider any weekend rota pattern, including days only, nights only or a combination of both. Available shifts include:
Weekend nights: Saturday and Sunday, 18:00–09:00
Saturday days: 12:00–18:30
Sunday days: 08:30–18:30
Whether you’re looking to focus on weekend work, complement another role or find a pattern that fits around your life, we’d love to discuss the possibilities with you.
You’ll be joining a friendly and well-established team, supported by a long-standing group of Registered Veterinary Nurses, some of whom have been with Vets Now for 20 years.
Our Senior Vet, Susana, has led the Hull clinic for 10 years and brings valuable experience in mentorship and coaching. During overnight shifts, you’ll work alongside two RVNs and an Animal Care Assistant, with a receptionist on site until 23:00.

You’ll benefit from working alongside an experienced nursing team and a Senior Vet with a passion for supporting colleagues through mentorship and coaching.
