We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Veterinary Nurse to join the Inpatient Care team at Pride Veterinary Referrals on a 12 month fixed term contract. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role within a busy, state of the art referral hospital, supporting the delivery of outstanding care for patients during their stay.
Working as part of a friendly and highly skilled team, you will contribute to a smooth, caring and professional service for referral and primary care patients and their owners. This is a hands on role where you will make a real impact on patient outcomes and the wider hospital team.
Role Details
As an Inpatient Care Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high standards of clinical nursing care across a varied caseload. You will work closely with clinicians, fellow nurses and support colleagues to maintain excellent standards of patient monitoring, procedural support and infection control. The role also includes contributing to stock control, record keeping and supporting day to day operations within the department.
Work Schedule
This is a full time position working Monday to Friday on a four day week, with shifts between 6am and 7pm.
The rota includes
1 in 6 weekends, Saturday and Sunday 7.45am to 6pmTwilight shift approximately every eight weeks on a Friday, followed by on call cover that night1 to 2 bank holidays per year
