Scarsdale Vets at Pride Park are seeking a dedicated Consult Nurse to join our dynamic nursing team on a full-time basis. With an interest in developing your consulting skills whilst upholding excellent standards of client service, you'll have the chance to work in a state-of-the-art referral hospital and be part of a supportive and experienced team.

As a Consult Nurse, you will have the opportunity to combine your interests in preventative healthcare and client care, making a positive impact on patient welfare through delivering quality clinics. You’ll work in our dedicated nurse consult room to build meaningful bonds with clients and patients whilst providing essential clinic services. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Consultations: Engage with clients and patients in our dedicated consult room, offering expert guidance on preventative healthcare to help pets live healthier, happier lives.
Clinic Management: Run daily clinics through the week, working closely with clients to build long-term relationships.
Innovative Environment: Contribute new ideas to continually improve our clinic offerings; we value and encourage a fresh perspective to enhance our services.
Our existing Nurse Clinic services include a wide range of pet care topics throughout all life stages, including post-op checks, chronic illness support, weight and dietary advice, claw clipping, second vaccinations and flea & worm treatments to name a few.

Pride Veterinary Referrals is equipped with cutting-edge facilities and advanced diagnostic tools, ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care. With 13 consultation rooms, 7 hospital wards, 5 theatres (expanding this year), a comprehensive imaging suite (CT, MRI & digital x-ray), 3 ultrasound rooms, an endoscopy suite, a hydrotherapy pool and treadmills, and dedicated chemo & radio-iodine treatment rooms, our facilities provide an exceptional care environment.
Our large and experienced team ensures access to leading-edge specialist knowledge, offering you an advanced and varied caseload that promotes the development of your clinical skills. While we prioritise clinical excellence and gold standard patient care, we maintain a friendly and supportive culture within the team.
Applicant Requirements
To succeed in this role, you must be a qualified RVN, with an interest in nurse consults and confidence in client liaison.
Working Pattern
This is a 38hr/week position, worked over a 4 day week (shift times may vary) plus 1:4 Saturdays. Weekday shift times will fall between 08:00-19:00 and the Saturday shift is 08:30-17:30.
