The Role

We are looking for Registered Veterinary Nurses to join our passionate team. We have two fixed term contract, full time positions available to cover maternity leave working five seven hour shifts per week plus out of hours duties. The main shift patterns are 07.00-15.00, 09.00-17.00 and 12.30-20.30hrs. Weekends are on a rota basis 1 in 8 with weekday nights 1 in 6. 

About Us

Wendover Heights is a friendly and busy small animal and equine Tier 2 RCVS accredited practice in the Chilterns, just 50 minutes from Central London. Our team consists of 10 small animal veterinary surgeons and 19 veterinary nurses, 17 of which are Registered Veterinary Nurses. We have an onsite canine hydrotherapy unit, pet shop and equine clinic, all the usual diagnostic and patient care equipment plus staff kennels so that you can bring your dog to work. The practice was a finalist in the Pet Plan Practice of the Year Award in 2019 and an example practice for the BVA Good Workplace Working Group. We even provide free lunches!

Applicant Requirements

The candidate must be registered with the RCVS and ideally have experience as an RVN. They need to be competent with anaesthesia and solo inpatient checks. Exotics nursing or canine rehabilitation experience an advantage although on the job training will be provided.
