Due to one of our brilliant Vets relocating back home, we have an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join Eastbourne Vets, Seaside, which would then complete our team.
To give you an overview of a typical day at Eastbourne Vets, you will start the morning consults at 09:00 - the appointments can be very varied ranging from admitting animals that are coming in for surgery or investigations, to routine appointments like Vaccinations or if animals are unwell. After the morning consults, the Vet will support the Nurses to prepare the animals that are in for surgical procedures and complete the surgery. After lunch, the afternoons and evenings will be back to consulting and discharging the surgical patients and any inpatients well enough to go home. During the afternoon the Vet will have free time to phone clients and complete paperwork. We aim for a varied working with excellent structure allowing a proactive and stimulating working day.
It is important to highlight, we have a brilliant window of opportunity for a Vet who is keen to delve into Surgery or has a keen interest in Surgery.
Eastbourne Vets is made up of 3 branches, one main hub with two smaller surgeries. We have a fully equipped theatre, kennels for inpatients, digital X ray and dental X ray machines. Diagnostic imaging is also covered with an ultrasound scanner equipped with cardio and abdominal probes and we have a fully equipped laboratory, part for blood diagnostics.
Our unique selling point is quality, we focus on delivering a high-quality service, with an individual approach. We are located next to the English Channel with beautiful beach walk just 5 minutes from practice. 10 minutes by car from us is Beachy head, beautiful cliffs with amazing views and do not forget about natural treasure North Downs with more amazing hikes available to you. We are prime location for countryside enthusiasts but also those who love the city, with excellent and quick transport links to London.
