Sundean Veterinary Group have an exciting opportunity to join our dedicated team at our purpose-built facility in Hartpury.
In this role, you will enjoy a perfect balance between consulting and operating on a variety of routine and occasional urgent cases, ensuring a dynamic and engaging workday. This is a sole charge role, but you will recieve the full support of our trained and experienced nursing colleagues, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to each patient that walks through our doors. we work closely as a veterinary team across the 3 sites to share ideas and discuss cases so there is always support available.
We have a great relationship with our local referral hospitals and visiting specialists who are also always happy to answer questions. Visiting specialists carry out orthopaedic procedures at our Hartpury site and we have recently introduced laser therapy at our Cinderford branch.

As part of our close-knit team, you will be working alongside 7 Veterinary Surgeons, 7 Registered Veterinary Nurses, and a supportive Reception Team across our three clinic sites.
Our team is diverse, with clinicians interested in imaging, exotics, ophthalmology, and small animal medicine. This collaborative environment allows for continuous growth and learning, providing you with the opportunity to expand your skill set.
We regularly post in our vet Whatsapp group case photos and ideas and meet in person every 6-8weeks for lunch and to discuss clinical topics and share tips from our CPD or teach each other new skills. Full practice meetings also take place every 6-8weeks to involve all staff in the day to day running of the practice and ensure everyone’s voice is heard.
At Sundean Veterinary Group, our spacious, modern clinic has ultrasound and x-ray capabilities, and a dedicated operating theatre. With separate cat and dog reception areas we prioritise the comfort and safety of our patients. Additionally, our in-house lab allows for efficient blood and urine testing, as well as examining slides for cytology.
