The Role

We are looking for a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon with a caring disposition and lots of enthusiasm to join our friendly and supportive team. We have 2 branches where vets move between, just 7 miles apart, on a fixed rota. Working hours are 34.8 hour working week consisting of 3 full days 9am until 6.30pm, 2 half days 9am until 1pm and 1 in 3 Saturdays 9am until 1pm - full time and part time applicants considered. No OOH at Adams Vets as this is undertaken by our OOH provider, VetsNow Huyton for evenings, weekends and bank holidays! Plenty of opportunity to work up medical and surgical cases at each branch building positive client bonds and gaining job satisfaction.

Applicant Requirements

The successful candidate must be RCVS Registered with experience obtained within a Small Animal Practice. The successful candidate must also have the confidence to perform surgery unsupervised and have the ability to work up their own medical cases using the resources available to them such as Idexx, Internal Lab and diagnostic equipment.
