The Role

We are looking for a Roving Veterinary Surgeon to join us at Summerhill Vet Group situated in South Wales. The role of this vet would be to run vaccine days and potentially routine neutering clinics out of a couple of sites to help with the increased number of new registrations and to take the pressures from our teams.

The position is full time across a 4 day a week Monday-Friday with rota to be confirmed. Shifts will be 9am-6pm and there is no weekend or OOH requirements.

About Us

We are a small animal group within South Wales and we have a good selection of equipment including ultrasound, dental x-ray, endoscopy and k-laser etc. We have 10 clinics but looking to operate this service from a select few. We are a large group and have approximately 130 staff members. We have a number of certificate holders as well as vets and nurses working towards certs. All our sites have a full support team to assist in the daily workload.

Applicant Requirements 

The successful candidate will be MRCVS and be competent in routine health checks and neutering. Ideally you will have experience working in small animal clinics. In addition to your excellent clinical and communication skills, you will need to be a people oriented person, who is willing to support your colleagues.
