Veterinary Surgeon
Moy Vets, Hambleton
Up to £65,000 DOE and up to £5,000 Welcome Bonus, up to £5,000 Relocation plus benefits

Exciting Opportunity: Join Our Modern Veterinary Practice!

Are you an experienced veterinary surgeon seeking a dynamic and engaging role? Look no further! Our close-knit team is expanding, and we're searching for a passionate individual to join our growing practice. With two conveniently located branches just 10 minutes apart, you'll have the opportunity to work across both locations.

A bit about us

At our practice, we pride ourselves on a high volume, varied caseload, offering ample opportunities for both surgery and consulting. Our collaborative approach fosters a supportive environment where team members provide expertise and assistance to one another. We even cover our own out-of-hours care from the comfort of home, ensuring continuity of care for our valued clients.

Work/life balance? You’re in luck!

We understand the importance of work-life balance, which is why we offer flexible rota patterns and working hours that adapt to your lifestyle at any stage of your career. Our standard 20-minute consults allow for excellent client communication and thorough workups. Additionally, we provide a rotating or set day off per week, tailored to your preferences.

Constant improvement is second nature

In addition to an attractive salary of up to £65,000 DOE, we offer a sign-on bonus of up to £5000 and a relocation package of up to £5000. We believe in investing in our team's growth and development, supporting your pursuit of certificates or memberships in areas such as orthopaedics, dermatology, or ophthalmology.

At Moy Vets, you'll be part of a well-established practice with a friendly and multicultural team. Our modern facilities include digital radiography, Idexx laboratory equipment, dental equipment, ultrasound, an endoscope, and a K-laser. We also welcome visiting specialists to enhance our expertise.

Our commitment to improvement is evident through our weekly meetings, focusing on team collaboration, continuous improvement, and training. We actively engage in local charity events and encourage our team members to do the same. And let's not forget the fun! Our recent team event involved a thrilling game of Curling.

To excel in this role, you'll need prior experience, empathy, and excellent communication skills. While an interest in orthopaedics, dermatology, or ophthalmology is desirable, it's not essential. We provide a supportive environment to help you thrive and grow alongside our passionate team.
