Racheal qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2003 whilst working in a busy general practice where she remained for the next 3 years as Senior Nurse. After a short period working as a Lecturer in Veterinary Nursing & Animal Management she returned to nursing as an Emergency & Critical Care nurse working for Vets Now in 2008 as a clinic nurse before becoming Principle Nurse Manager and then District Manager. Racheal achieved the Veterinary Nursing Certificate in Emergency & Critical Care in 2011 and took up her current position of Head of Nursing Standards where she is a member of the Clinical Standards team responsible for the clinical and professional standards within the clinics, and Chairs the Vets Now Ethnic Diversity Scholarship for veterinary nurses.
Racheal was an elected member of the RCVS VN Council 2016-2020 and was the Chair of VN Council and a member of RCVS Council 2017-2020 and was Chair of the VN Futures Board in 2019.
