We are delighted to share that two IVC Evidensia colleagues have been nominated as finalists at the Petplan Awards for 2023.
Kristen Lorimer from
Blue House Veterinary Centre has been nominated in the ‘Practice Manager of the Year’ category and Claire McCrea from
Craemill Veterinary Clinic has been nominated in the ‘Vet of the Year’ category.
Over 30,000 nominations were received this year for the awards and both Kristen and Claire were picked as one of three finalists in their respective categories.
The annual awards are due to take place on the 23rd of March this year at the Kimpton Clocktower Hotel in Manchester. This is the first time in two years they are being hosted in person, after virtual ceremonies taking place during the pandemic. This year also marks the 24th anniversary since the veterinary awards began.
Kristen shared her delight at making the final three Practice Managers of the Year:
"I am over the moon to have made the top 3 finalists. It means so much to me, I still can't believe it. I absolutely love my job, the practice and all the team so this just seems like the perfect silver lining and I'm proud to have got this far."
Claire commented on becoming a finalist in the Vet of the Year category:
“I have always been really chuffed when the Petplan envelope arrives in the practice full of certificates for our wonderful team but to get the news of being an actual finalist was overwhelming!”
We wish both outstanding colleagues the very best of luck for the 24th of March, from everyone at IVC Evidensia.
