White Cross Vets, part of IVC Evidensia UK, has opened two new purpose-built first opinion practices in Coventry and Stanningley.
Now with 23 sites and over 330 colleagues across the Midlands and North of England, White Cross Vets is our largest and fastest-growing practice group in the UK.
Focused on building trusted, community-led practices, White Cross Vets joined IVC Evidensia in 2018. Since then, many of their new practices have been purpose-built in areas identified as needing greater veterinary care services.
These two new openings mark the latest step in this commitment to ensuring that first opinion veterinary care is accessible to more pets and their owners.
The Coventry practice, which opened on 20 October, is headed by Clinical Director Peter Dickson, who has a special interest in exotic species, including small mammals, reptiles, and birds.
The Stanningley site opened on 3 November and is led by Rebecca Verity, who specialises in orthopedics. She’s joined by Cardiologist, Miles Chater, and Critical Care Specialist, Francisco Mendes.
Each new practice features four consulting rooms, two theatres, and a dedicated dental and imaging suite, enabling multiple procedures to take place simultaneously.
The modern facilities reflect White Cross Vets' focus on expanding their dental services and advanced diagnostics, with spacious layouts that allow visiting surgeons to perform specialist treatments on-site.
The new practices have also created nine new jobs, with plans to expand each team in the future.
After attending the Coventry opening, UK Chief Operating Officer Rob Keates shared:
“Opening our new practices in Coventry and Stanningley marks an exciting milestone for the White Cross Vets team. Both clinics have been specifically designed to meet the growing need for high-quality veterinary care in their communities, while creating new opportunities for talented vets and nurses to develop their expertise.
“We’re proud to see our teams already making a difference to pets and their owners from day one.”
