Farm Animal Clinical Board

Clinically led practices is the foundation on which IVC Evidensia has been built. Our species specific clinical boards are a driving force that steer the focus and resources to support, improve and innovate working practises.

Role and purpose within IVC Evidensia Farm Vets

Our Farm Animal Clinical Board is not only fundamental to our farm mission. It provides vital support to all of our mixed and farm vet teams who are regionally represented on the board. The make-up of farm work by board members’ practices, as well as their experience, is evaluated during the selection process when a seat becomes available, ensuring not only a balanced knowledge base, but the skills and passion to make things happen.

The board exists to provide our farm veterinary teams with a forum to discuss, advise and decide on matters related to the group as a whole, encompassing both clinical and non clinical areas.

Working groups are made up of board members and draw on the expertise of central support staff in Finance, IT, HR, Learning & Development, Marketing and Procurement. These working groups exist to support and drive key remits:

  • Animal welfare and food safety
  • Career support and development
  • Sustainability, including environmental, governing and technological changes
