Helen qualified from Edinburgh in 1999 and spent a year working in mixed practice in North Wales before deciding that small animals were not for her. She then moved to Wright & Morten as a large animal vet, where she has remained ever since.
She completed her Diploma in Bovine Reproduction in 2006 and went on to develop the practice’s bull fertility service. Helen’s main interests are dairy fertility and herd health, and she particularly enjoys working with block calving herds.
Outside of work, Helen is kept busy with her two young children, and with running a Welsh Cob stud and Yak farming!
