Highlights of IVC Evidensia at London Vet Show 2025

December 01, 2025

Last week, IVC Evidensia returned to London Vet Show to connect with delegates at their stand and hosted a range of CPD sessions in their dedicated lecture theatre.

As Europe’s largest veterinary exhibition, London Vet Show is a lively affair, giving delegates the opportunity to engage with peers, explore new innovations and products, and grow their network. This year welcomed nearly 5,000 attendees who had the opportunity to meet over 400 exhibitors and receive up to 17 hours of CPD in clinical and current topics.

Connecting and networking at London Vet Show 2025

Throughout the two days, the IVC Evidensia stand provided a welcoming space for attendees to chat with the talent team, welfare team, and representatives from farm, equine and referrals. Their dedicated barista also kept delegates fuelled with free hot drinks, offering a relaxed setting to catch up with peers and meet speakers between sessions

Non-accidental injury helpline

This year, IVC Evidensia offered keyrings featuring their updated non-accidental injury (NAI) QR code for access to expert welfare support. This helpline is open to the whole veterinary community and provides guidance for those in practice who have encountered a suspected or known case of NAI.

Learning and knowledge sharing in the IVC Evidensia theatre and beyond

Located next to the stand was the IVC Evidensia theatre, where 14 speakers delivered 9 hours of CPD across the two days. The sessions were well received, with some of the talks reaching full capacity. You can see the full list of their speakers and their talks here

Day one focused on the evolving world of veterinary care, covering topics from diversity in the sector to our quality improvement aims with Care Frameworks. In addition to colleagues, the group welcomed Laura Gelder-Robertson, CEO of Vet Sustain to speak alongside Sarah Heath, Director of Sustainability & ESG, in an interactive session on sustainability in practice.

Also speaking on day one was Dr Janey Lowes, CEO of WECare Worldwide, IVC Evidensia's new charity partner, who shared her journey to building a brighter future for the street dog population in Sri Lanka.

Day two had a case-based referrals focus on topics such as pyrexia and joint conditions, helping clinicians gain confidence in primary care and emergency decision-making.

A huge well done to all the colleagues who helped deliver sessions in other theatres and on the exhibition floor:

  • Gudrun Ravetz, Group Chief Medical Officer, on the CMA Investigation in the BVA Congress theatre
  • Paul Horwood, Country Head of Farm, on contract negotiation in the BVA Career Development theatre and AI on farms in the BVA Congress theatre

Focus on Sustainability

New for 2025, IVC Evidensia also collaborated with MSD and Vet Sustain on an immersive 3D installation showcasing the Sustainable Practice of the Future. Delegates could walk through different areas of the model practice and discover 50 sustainable actions to embed in their workplace, helping spark conversation and inspire meaningful change in the profession.

Recognising outstanding veterinary talent

The show also recognised a range of talent in the veterinary field, which included unique achievements from across IVC Evidensia's UK network.
