The Top Employers Institute has revealed the companies receiving certification in 2026, and we’re pleased to share that we have been named as a Top Employer for the second consecutive year.
This certification recognises organisations across the globe that are positively impacting the lives of colleagues. We’re proud to share that IVC Evidensia remains the first and only veterinary care provider to achieve Top Employer status in the UK.
To achieve the certification, we went through a rigorous process that assessed all the elements of our colleague experience and how we are making making improvements for our people.
Our submission included our most recent improvements such as the launch of our Career Pathways, expanding learning opportunities via our Training Centres, investing in facilities, equipment and technology, our new induction hub, greater mental health support and resources on addiction, physical wellbeing and domestic abuse, training for managers on mental health and neurodiversity, the launch of our first Colleague Forum and more recognition through our quarterly Regional Brilliant People Awards.
We also highlighted our Positive Pawprint sustainability strategy, including how we're supporting greater diversity and inclusion in our profession and helping practices embrace sustainable ways of working, such as investing £500,000 in the rollout of low flow anaesthesia equipment.
We want to ensure that everyone has the positive experience at work we’re aiming for, wherever you are in the UK. We’ll continue to test how we’re improving through external processes such as the Top Employers certification as well as listening to what you have to say through our engagement surveys.
