Join our friendly team at Links Veterinary Group!

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our dedicated and supportive team who will contribute to providing top-quality care to our patients. We are looking a friendly and an adaptable team player with excellent communication and customer service skills, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail. You will have the ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment, follow protocols, and have a compassionate and caring attitude towards animals and their owners. You must hold a valid UK driving license and have access to your own car, as branch work will be required at any time throughout East Lothian.

Day to Day

Your day will involve a mix of inpatient care, consulting, and surgery in a busy first opinion practice with visiting and in-house specialists. The position is a full-time permanent role, working a 5-day week with varying shift patterns from 7:00 am to 12:00 am (8-hour days). We are passionate about providing 24-hour care to ensure our patients receive excellent standards of care at any time of day. This commitment also gives our staff exposure to Emergency and Critical Care (ECC) work they desire. We greatly respect the care and dedication put into out-of-hours (OOH) work and reward with generous time back. The rota is currently a 1:10, including weekends, evenings, and occasional night shifts, based mainly at our Haddington surgery. Branch cover will be required ad hoc across all five surgeries.
