We are looking for a new Receptionist team member to join our Lime Trees team, working at both of our practices: our purpose-built Small Animal Hospital in Meir Park, and our newly refurbished dedicated Cat Only Clinic in Cheadle. 

About the rota and salary


The role is full time (37.5 hours per week) with the opportunity to work a 4-day week within our business hours of 8:00am – 7:00pm Monday to Friday, plus 1 in 4 Saturday shifts between the hours of 7:45am – 1:30pm. There is a requirement for the team to be flexible in their working hours as we all work together to ensure the core business hours are always covered, allowing for sickness and holidays.

The salary for this role is up to £22,308 DOE per annum.

We want you to join them in being a friendly face whom our pet owners can trust. We are looking for someone that will thrive in a fast paced, customer facing environment. While we have an established clinical team who look after the wellbeing of our patients, we need our Client Care team to look after our clients, providing a supportive and helpful service. If you possess excellent communication skills and a desire to help clients, then this could be the role for you.  

Responsibilities of a Client Care Team Member:

 

  • Greet all clients in a friendly and professional way.
  •  
  • Organisation of the clinical diary for routine, surgical and emergency appointments.
  •  
  • Answering telephone phone inquiries from clients in a welcoming and calm manner.
  •  
  • Provide excellent customer service, informing and educating clients sympathetically. 
  •  
  • Convert inquiries into appointments to maintain pet healthcare. 
  •  
  • Handle and update client data and records.
  •  
  • Assist clients in handing pet insurance claims.
  •  
  • Record relevant information in the practice system to support the clinical team.
  •  
  • Ensure accuracy of invoices and collect payments on the day of treatment.
  •  
  • Provide education to clients on basic animal care. 
  •

    Located in the family community of Meir Park, near Blythe Bridge, we provide a home from home experience for your pet(s), making them feel calm, comfortable, and loved during their time with us. Vets Now run our out of hours service from in Lime Trees Vets – Meir Park. If you need a Vet any time of the day or night, you will not be asked to travel to another site!
