We are now looking for a Part-Time Radiographer to join our amazing team at Pride.
Your core role will be to perform MRI and CT imaging, as well as supporting the main x-ray department with digital & mobile radiography, along with fluoroscopy procedures to a high standard. You will also support the team with local rules compliance, equipment and consumable ordering, quality assurance, and updating our schedules and systems accordingly.
You will see a wide variety of interesting cases across small animal and exotics.
Qualities we seek
We are open to candidates from both a Veterinary and Human background who will have MRI / CT experience alongside their HCPC Registration and DCR/BSc (Hons) Diagnostic Radiography.
Ideally the candidate will work between 18-23 hours per week and complete a 1:4 weekend on call rota.

Pride Veterinary Centre is the central small animal hospital for the Scarsdale Veterinary Group, a multi-species practice employing over 300 staff across 10 sites in the Midlands. At Pride we offer specialist led services in anaesthesia, diagnostic imaging, internal medicine, soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery, neurology, ophthalmology, and exotics we are also supported by advanced practitioners in cardiology, and on-site hydrotherapy and physiotherapy.
The state-of-the-art hospital provides 24/7 veterinary care, supported by a dedicated night team. We work closely with the University of Nottingham, with veterinary students rotating through first opinion and referral services at Pride. We are located at the edge of Derby city centre with good transport links to major cities via road and rail network. East Midlands Airport and Birmingham International Airport offer convenient access to domestic and international destinations. The beautiful Peak District is just around the corner.
State-of-the-art facilities
The fantastic facilities include 14 consultation rooms, 7 hospital wards, 5 theatres, full advanced imaging suite (with CT and MRI), 3 ultrasound rooms, interventional radiology and cardiology capabilities, an endoscopy suite, hydrotherapy pool and treadmills and dedicated chemotherapy treatment rooms. We are at a particularly exciting time in our development, with a recently installed new digital x-ray room, and a new MRI machine planned for later this year.
