We are looking for friendly and enthusiastic Veterinary Receptionists to join our team at Bath Vets! If you have a passion for customer service, experience in a reception or administration role, and are keen to make a difference in a busy veterinary environment, we’d love to hear from you. We have several exciting positions available that can accommodate all shift patterns across all our fantastic branches. Flexibility to commute between our sites is essential.
In this role, you will be responsible for greeting and interacting with clients in a welcoming and professional manner, ensuring that every visit is a positive experience. You will manage appointment bookings, handle queries, and take payments, while also dispensing medication and assisting with general administrative tasks. Additionally, you will be required to handle account queries, chase outstanding debt, and manage payments, as well as complete end-of-day banking and monitor petty cash records. You will also support the team with any other administrative tasks as required by the Hospital Manager, Practice Manager, or Clinical Directors will also be part of your duties.

The perfect fit
We are seeking candidates with previous experience in customer service role. You should possess strong administrative and computer skills and be able to multitask and stay calm under pressure in a fast-paced setting. We’re looking for someone who is a professional and confident communicator, able to interact seamlessly with both clients and colleagues. Flexibility to travel between our branches in Bath, Melksham, and Keynsham is essential, as you will be working across all our locations.
Working Hours
We are flexible and can accomodate a variety of shift patterns, whether you are looking for 28 hours per week, or 7.5! Your rota will cover a variety of shifts between 7:30 am and 7 pm, including weekend work. Rotas will be released at least one month in advance.
